Special and CAMP

program

Children are divided into groups according to their chosen program. The morning part (3 hours) is devoted to the selected special program. In the afternoon, everyone chooses from a huge range of joint programs. In the evenings there are special activities.

Experienced and qualified counsellors from all over the world are present at all times (average ratio 1:6) and their role at camp is to take care of your children so that they are always safe and happy. Most of them are between the ages of 21-35 and bring different cultures and languages with them, creating a wonderful international environment.

2 sessions of 2 weeks each

Accommodation

The recently built residence is used exclusively by this camp. The apartments are clean, spacious and each can accommodate 4-6 people and each has a full bathroom.

Meals

Children receive three nutritious, healthy and varied meals every day. A salad bar with fresh produce is available for all meals. At breakfast time there is a choice of cereals, pastries and fresh fruit and much more. We cater to healthy young appetites so an “alternative” is always available. Some trips include a packed lunch.

Camp price

3400 EUR. The price includes full accommodation, meals and a program during the stay at the camp. The main extra costs are transport, insurance and pocket money.

Children have free access to a large private pool, playground, fenced grassy gardens and exclusive use of two activity rooms where they can relax and enjoy a busy evening programme.

15 minutes walk from the city centre

The campsite is just 15-minute walk from the town centre, shops and beaches and about an hour’s drive from the capital Lisbon.

Beautiful resort by the ocean

Santa Cruz, on the west coast of Portugal, is a beautiful seaside resort with a palm-fringed promenade full of colourful shops, cafes and restaurants.

Free time

In their free time, children can enjoy the traditional village cafes and shops in town in small groups. The older ones go with their new friends from all over the world and the younger ones in groups always accompanied by a counselor.

So the boy came back on Saturday. He made it through the airport without any problems. They were just surprised that he didn’t have an airport assistant 🙂

He was happy at the camp. I think they have such a full program there that they don’t even manage to get bored. The leaders are great. He was just surprised that some kids couldn’t even butter their own bread, some were quite cocky and had a nanny 😀 There were a lot of kids from Arab countries, South America, where the Czech Republic is they had no idea 🙂 Well they have to get used to it. He mastered English without any problems, he had a harder time with that too compared to the others. They speak so normally 🙂

Well, he enjoyed it 😀

Maru was really happy and is looking forward to next year. A little hudrala that the shower only 5 min and such small operational things – but it is everywhere something, so it’s not worth it to address. So next year we are still counting on this camp – ideally again at the beginning of July and if everything is ok, then she would try some of the American ones maybe.
